Cabinet of Curiosities

I collect things from the natural world; fossils, insects, feathers, shells, and items of anthropological interest; treasures gleaned from the Thames foreshore, or artefacts from the East Anglian fens where I'm from. Over decades, I have assembled a Cabinet of Curiosities which houses these treasures.

It was a natural progression to paint these things to record their often ephemeral beauty, the resulting work feels core to me and what I love. 

The work is quite small in scale and is at a price point that can be appropriate for gifts.
