Queen Bumble Bee

We're all delighted to see these fuzzy beauties re-emerge in the spring I think. The first ones out in March are the enormous queens looking for a place to start their colony and I for one wish them all the best for that endeavour and welcome them into my garden with early flowering blooms to nourish and nurture them. Bees are historically the symbol of unity and hard work. I paint them often and if you find them sold here let me know as I will be painting more.
