These are my Granny's 19th Century steel sewing scissors which lived in her needlework basket. I love owning tools of people who I have I loved - they are inherently of low value, but there's something intimate and connecting about using them. She was an excellent seamstress, so using her scissors feels like she is holding my hand when I have to sew.
