Forget-me-nots in Little Silver Vessel

There was an important William Nicholson exhibition at Pallant House in Chichester earlier this year. He surely is the godfather of still life painting to so many of us, and after seeing so much of his work in one place (especially the silver bowl paintings) I had a spell of painting things with his work in mind.  I bought this little silver plated two handled cup especially, its the perfect size for forget-me-nots.  I am sure to paint it again.
